The Dimplex LPC Series Linear Convector Baseboard Heater features a revolutionary design providing a sleek, compact heater profile, while improving heater performance, reducing energy consumption, and increased comfort. The LPC heater comes equipped with a built-in electronic thermostat which controls and maintains a consistent room temperature providing up to 33 percent energy savings. The heater is designed to be used in residential applications as well as commercial applications such as offices, lobbies, and bathrooms.

New electronic proportioning thermostat, with CSA-C828 compliant control (+/-0.5C/1F), RF transceiver for on-board temperature control and heater-to-heater telegraphing.

Faster heating of the room than a conventional baseboard due to rapid vertical laminar air flow, directing heat to the ceiling, speeding dispersal of warm air into the center of the room.

Improved performance and reduced length through use of top heat discharge and new fin design heating element.

Superior shark-fin blade design on a steel tubular element for improved heat transfer and longer life. A nickel chromium element is totally enclosed within a steel sheath, providing superior life expectancy and resistance to rust. Shark-fin shaped aluminum fins are firmly staked in an upright position to provide directional wicking for top discharge heat transfer.

Placement of the LPC Series Linear Convector Baseboard Heater:
Linear Convectors are high performance heaters designed to operate at higher outlet temperatures than conventional baseboard heaters. They can be directly mounted onto drywall, plaster, wood or concrete walls. Due to the higher outlet temperature, the wall surface can reach temperatures of 167F (75C) or above and some materials may discolor or deform at these temperatures, e.g. vinyl. In these cases the heater can be mounted with an offset from the wall and floor to reduce the temperature being applied to those materials. By installing the heater 5/8 inch (1.6 cm) off the wall and 1/4 inch (0.6 cm) off of the floor, the temperature of the wall above the heater can be reduced to 149F (65C).
