Features of ETI LCD-1 120VAC CSA Snow Melting and Deicing Control

The ETI LCD-1 120 VAC CSA Snow Melting and Deicing Control is an energy saving low cost alternative to using a thermostat, or timer controls in snow melting systems. Its low price is perfect for cost sensitive residential and light commercial snow melting applications. The LCD-1 Snow Switch turns on snow melting heaters when precipitation occurs at temperatures below 38F (3.3C) and remains on for a 5 hour hold-on time after precipitation stops to ensure complete ice and snow melting. This saves substantial energy compared to simply using a thermostat or timer.

Low cost

Reliable automatic control

CSA Certified

Simple installation

Field proven in thousands of installations

Minimum snow melting costs

No supervision required

The integral relay is rated for 120/240 VAC, 16 amp loads that will permit direct heater control for small snow and ice melting applications such as wheelchair ramps and stairways or may operate external contactors in large installations.
