The heavy duty grille and frame can withstand heavy traffic and abuse. Pic-A-Watt Element Cast Iron Motor. Permanently lubricated motor with enclosed rotor provides long-lasting, trouble-free operation. Thermally protected. 1300 RPM. Aluminum Fan, 5-Blades Multiple wattage Selector switch. Fan/Heat/Off. Tamperproof 3-position switch provides heating and summer fan-only operation. The DPST off switch provides a positive off that disconnects all ungrounded conductors. Controls are easily accessed through grill with slotted screwdriver. Fan Delay Switch. The fan continues to operate after the thermostat shuts off in order to remove the residual heat left in the elements. Heavy extruded aluminum grille provides high impact resistance to damage. Grille is attached with tamperproof screws (hex socket/pinned). All controls are easily accessed through grille with slotted screwdriver. Safety light illuminates when thermal cutout trips, turning off when limit resets. Safety limit turns off power to element if it overheats then automatically resets when the normal operating temperature returns. Single Pole factory installed hydraulic capillary tube with precision control. Operating range 40F to 90F. Thermostat is tamperproof to prevent unauthorized adjustment.
Tamper-resistant screws are used to hold the grill in place preventing unauthorized disassembly of the grille. Also, the controls are recessed and out of reach of fingers which prevents unauthorized changing of control settings.
