The Markel 3470 Series Commercial Fan Forced Surface Mounted Electric Ceiling Heaters are designed to be used in commercial and institutional facilities in areas such as vestibules, entryways, rest rooms, small offices, and guard buildings. Motor: Permanently lubricated, unit bearing, totally enclosed shaded pole type with impedance protection. Performance: 425 CFM at 710 F.P.M. with a maximum temperature rise of 44F. Element: Corrosion resistant steel sheathed type elements mechanically bonded to common corrosion resistant steel fins. Thermal Overload: Manual Reset thermal overload which disconnects elements and motor in the event normal operating temperatures are exceeded. For safety, if opened due to abnormal temperature, thermal overload shall remain open until manually reset.
When determining the mounting location of the heater, it is important to keep the intake and exhaust free from any obstructions such as curtains, or doors. Proper operation of the heater requires a free flow intake and exhaust of air.
