The Qmark FRS2 Series Infrared Heater Fixtures are constructed out of 20 gauge 304 stainless steel and are designed to hold two elements. They are used for total or supplement (spot) heating in commercial and industrial areas in severe atmosphere operating conditions including salt air. Note, the infrared heating elements must be ordered separately. Easy one person installation - attach upper mounting support to ceiling or optional wall bracket, rough in wiring, hang heater by tabs to complete wiring, swing heater into place to complete installation.
There are three types of infrared elements available for use in the FRS series fixture. Metal Sheath, Quartz Tube and Quartz Lamp elements interchangeably provides the flexibility necessary for multiple application projects. Metal sheathed elements. Used indoors, or outdoors protected from the wind, in areas where physical abuse is a problem. Quartz Tube and Quart Lamp. Used indoors and outdoors in areas where abuse is not a problem for snow melting and spot heating. Corrosive Atmospheres. For severe conditions such as swimming pool, green houses, etc., the FRS stainless steel enclosure should be used.
