The Qmark GFR Series electric wall heater offers a fast heat response, contemporary design, and a quiet operation making the heater ideal for use in bedrooms, dens, basements, breezeways, bathrooms, and small offices. The GFR Series wall heaters all have the patented CLIP N FIT feature which allows the installer to install heaters with lower wattages. The heavy gauge steel front cover features beveled edges on the top and bottom to give the heater a pleasing, contemporary look. Each heater comes equipped with an automatic over temperature protector that guards against overheating. Heavy gauge steel fins are brazed to low watt density steel sheathed tubular heating elements in a uniform grid pattern. The grid covers the entire discharge area resulting in uniform heating of all discharge air and provides a lower operating temperature resulting in prolonged element life. The tangential blower and the impedance protected, permanently lubricated motor provide troublefree, whisper quiet operation. The GFR Series units can be operated by either a built-in or wall mounted, single pole or double pole, line voltage thermostat. All three GFR models are available with or without a built-in double pole thermostat. Single and double pole, built-in thermostat kits are also available for field installation.
The Qmark GFR Series electric wall heater is designed for recessed installation. The heaters may also be surface mounted on walls (with an optional surface mounting frame). When determining where to mount the heater, it is important to Keep combustible materials, such as crates, drapes, etc., away from heater. Do not install behind doors, furniture, towels, boxes, or where airflow to heater may be obstructed.
