The Qmark QCH Series Ceiling Mounted Fan Forced Electric Heaters are designed to be used in basements, dens, breezeways, bathrooms, small offices, and similar areas. The basic unit is designed for recessed installation, but is easily adapted for surface mounting with the use of the optional surface mounting frame QCH models range from 500 to 2000 watts provide outstanding performance. Rugged steel fins are copper brazed to the low watt density, steel sheathed, tubular heating elements which are arranged in a uniform pattern. Room temperature is controlled by a remote wall thermostat which must be purchased separately. A thermal cutout shuts off the heater in the event of overheating.
The Qmark QCH Series Ceiling Mounted Fan Forced Electric Heater is provided with a fan delay control that allows the heating element to warm prior to the fan coming on. This delay will also allow the fan to operate for a short period after the heating element has been turned off to remove the residual heat from the heater. In order for the fan delay to operate correctly, separate wiring is required between the heater and the wall thermostat. See the installation instructions for complete details.
