King Electric SR Pipe Trace and Roof and Gutter Deicing Heating Cable

Description: King SR self-regulating cable provides reliable freeze protection for a variety of industrial, commercial and residential pipe.

The heating cable consists of a continuous core of conductive polymer extruded between two 16 AWG tinned copper bus wires. The cable will regulate its power output (watt/ft.) automatically in response to changes in the surrounding temperature. Parallel construction makes it easier to install than zone or series types of cable since it can be cut to length at any point and terminated on site by the installation contractor. The self-regulating feature allows the cable to be overlapped without overheating or burning out the cable.
