Nichrome Resistance Wire

Description

Nichrome wire is commonly used as a resistance heater for cutting foam (Styrofoam, polyurethane, etc.) fabrics, and a variety of other materials.

We stock 16-22, 24, 25, 28, 29 and 31 gauge Nichrome-60 wire sold by the foot (packaged in a plastic bag) - A commonly used wire is 21 gauge. It might require some experimentation to determine the best gauge to use for your material.
