TPI Fostoria OCH Series Brown Painted Trimline Infrared Heater
Description
TPI Fostoria OCH series outdoor Trimline quartz tube comfort spot heating assemblies. Used in overhead spot or zone heating applications. With nearly instantaneous heat-up, they can provide heat for specific areas outdoors or within a large, open facility where a forced air heater would require more time and energy to heat.
Features
UL/C-UL listed for suspended, totally exposed (outdoor) and indoor spot heating applications.
Frosted Quartz Tube heating element (included).
60° symmetrical radiant heat pattern.
Finish: High-temp brown powder coating
Gold anodized aluminum reflector and end caps.
Painted Brown models are direct wire and include (3) 24" long lead wires for field connections in a remote enclosure (not supplied). Optional electrical box enclosure is available for this series to allow for direct wire connection to the end of the heater housing. Use OCH-EBK-120, 208, 240, or 480 enclosures.
Two 2' ft. long mounting chains and four S-Hooks included.
The OCH-Series can be surfaced mounted using the supplied mounting brackets which allow up to a 45º horizontal tilt adjustment.
Three different mounting options available: Chain Mount, Wall Mount, and Ceiling Mount.
Mounting:
For optimum spot heating performance, it is recommended that the distance from the floor should be approximately 7 to 9 feet for OCH-46 models, and 8 to 10 feet for OCH-57 models.
Mounting Clearances:
- 12 inches minimum from a vertical surface
- 72 inches minimum from ANY combustible material
- 3 inches minimum from the ceiling
- 36 inches minimum from other heaters
