Application Safety: 1. Required Clearance - Keep all combustible materials such as furniture, papers, cloths and curtains at least 3 feet (1 meter) from all sides of heater.
2. Metal sheathed rods should never be operated at voltages in excess of that specified on the data label. Over voltage operation or over voltage spikes can cause the heating elements to fail in a dynamic manner which presents a definite fire hazard.
